How pregnancy fueled a career change....
I was enjoying a scuba diving trip looking for Great White sharks in 1996 when I first found out I was pregnant! (Inexplicably, my interest in the next dive waned). My job in TV got put on hold, I got married and had a beautiful baby daughter and I began Fertile Mind. What a wonderful year!
Perhaps you know BellyBelt, now available in hundreds of stores in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, across Australia and around the world. Back then it was a fledgling invention being tested on yours truly, my friends from ante-natal classes and mothers’ group.
I say humbly, we mothers are great inventors and innovators. Fertile Mind is proud to showcase, online and in-store, more than a dozen baby & maternity products invented by mums around the world. What’s great about mum inventions is that the motivation often stems from a personal need.
