At Fertile Mind we specialise in clever maternity wear, nursing wear and other clothing products designed to help women look and feel their best, right throughout pregnancy and following the birth.

Since inventing the award-winning Belly Belt in 1996, company founder and former TV presenter Christine Kininmonth has worked with the Fertile Mind team to source similarly inspired ideas. Like the Belly Belt that allowed Christine to continue to wear her on-camera work clothes instead of maternity clothes when she was pregnant, all Fertile Mind products are designed to minimise the disruption to a woman's life (and wardrobe!), so she can feel more stylish and relaxed.

Company Story
Most of us at Fertile Mind are mums a few times over, so every item we carry has to first appeal to us as mothers.

Is it practical? Would we buy it? Does it represent good value for money? Will it last?

This philosophy has been with the company since it began, when founder Christine Kininmonth became pregnant herself in 1996. Disillusioned with what was on the market, Christine adapted her own corporate wardrobe with an elasticised panel.

Belly Belt was born, and Fertile Mind had its first and bestselling accessory.

Peter Hooker brought in much needed business skills, and he and Christine now distribute a range of maternity and nursing wear throughout Australia. Fertile Mind exports to around 30 countries, including the UK, U.S., Japan and Europe.

Fertile Mind is proud to be the exclusive Australian distributor of well-regarded international labels Glamourmom Nursing Bra Tanks, Seraphine maternity jeans and Belly Bra maternity support garments.

Our own labels include Belly Belt, Bando maternity band, Nursing Fashion, Superbra, Perfect Fit maternity undies and opaque maternity tights.
