We would like to thank the editors of CosmoPregnancy for showcasing our Milkbar Nursing Pillow as a "Little feeding help" in there feeding special feature page.

We would like to thank Livinia Nixon of Hey Hey it's Saturday for picking our Milkbar Nursing Pillow to bring in as her "Who owns this?" item on this week’s show. Daryl did a very cute gag about the boomerang shape of the Milkbar and Livina almost successfully tricked the contestant that it wasn’t her item, saying it made a great travel pillow as well as a nursing pillow. But with some help from the audiance he guested it was Livinia's.

We would like to thank Pregnancy & Birth for saying:
A pregnancy pillow... to a nursing pillow.
This pillow is a fantastic support under your bump when sleeping on your side. It's also a nursing pillow, gently lifting bub's head to the correct breastfeeding position. Available in pink, blue and chocolate colours; both the zip-off cover and inner pillow are washable. Extra covers and a twin pillow for the 'football' position are available.
We were really pleased to hear that Catriona Rowntree named our Milkbar Portable Nursing Pillow as one of her favourite things after having her baby Andrew.
I love it. I found The Milkbar’s shape extremely versatile and the removable cover is great. The Milkbar helped my baby and I relax and enjoy our special time together.
When your bump arrives, feeding him or her will be a big priority. Ensure your back, shoulders and bub have proper support by investing in The Milkbar Portable Nursing Pillow. It will ease the strain caused by nursing and, in the meantime, can multi-task as a pregnancy support pillow.
You probably can't imagine your bump becoming an actual baby just yet, but she or he is in there!
When she arrives, it will be all about feeding, so ensure your back and shoulders, and your bub, will have proper support by investing in the Milkbar Portable Nursing Pillow. It will ease the nursing strain and in the meantime can multi-task as a pregnancy support pillow.
I absolutely love the Milkbar. I wish I had one for my first child. Its fantastic for supporting bub putting him in the right position for feeding and allows me to sit for longer periods of time without any strain on my back or arms. I also love it for cuddle time. When my son was born recently he was in the NICU for a while and I used to bring my pillow in each day to feed him on and cuddle. The Nurse Unit Manager was so impressed with the pillow that she is considering purchasing them for the Special care and NICU ward. Anyone thinking about getting this pillow should think no more it is worth it!

Cons:
Design and Features
The Milkbar is a little bean shaped pillow made to fit the contours of mum’s body. It's slightly elevated and wider at one end to accommodate your baby for feeding. It has a carry handle and you can buy extra pillow covers if needed.
The cover is cotton and the pillow is filled with polyester filling. It’s non allergenic, odourless and comes in three colour combinations, brown/sand, pink/sand and blue/sand.
It also comes in double trouble (twins) size which features an adjustable strap that goes around mum or dads waist to stabilise it and leave both arms free for feeding.
Performance and Drawbacks
The Milkbar is designed to reduce stress on your neck, back and arms during feeding by bringing your baby to the boob rather than the other way around. It's just the right height for a comfy feed on most chairs; you can even get in a bit of one-handed (web) surfing and email-checking while feeding if you wish. That's multi-tasking for you!
The elevated design is also great if you have a baby with reflux or other digestion problems as it lifts their head above their feet making them more comfortable feeding.
The cushion is nice and long so you should get at least six-months' use from it. It fits snugly and comfortably around your middle and protects your stomach area after a cesarean section.
It's well made and the cotton cover is nice, soft and cool in summer. The handle is nifty for carrying it around and/or hanging it out of the way.
Don’t cry over spilt milk, both the pillow case and filling are washable.
Conclusion
Using a pillow for feeding is an individual parent thing, some like it, others don’t. The Milkbar is well designed to suit its purpose.
About Milkbar
The Milkbar feeding pillow is an Aussie mum invention and is produced and retailed by Aussie company, Fertile Mind.
A oldie but a goodie, the Milkbar Feeding Pillow reduces back and neck pain by elevating your baby to chest height for breast- or bottle- fedding. Designed by a mother of three, it's compact and available in chocolate, blue or pink.
I bought a Milkbar, and it's the best thing I've had for nursing. Rather than giving flowers to celebrate my friends babies, I'm now giving Milkbars instead!
I had seen the old nursing pillows before and thought that the Fertile Minds Milkbar Portable Nursing Pillow looked quite fashionable, modern and more practical. Even matched our décor! The Milkbar was good quality, using high quality materials. Also the materials used on the pillows are low allergy. The concept is excellent. It has made breastfeeding easier and a lot more comfortable for me to hold bubs at the right height while having little contact with her when it is hot. However, it has also allowed me the flexibility to hold her close when the weather is cooler. It is so easy to wash, just threw it in with all my sheets. The Milkbar Portable Nursing Pillow definitely helps reduce the strain on your arms, back and neck. It gives you the flexibility to keep bubs at the right height to breastfeed and a great support under your arm. This product even helps you with latching on as bubs is just at the right height. This pillow has now become part of the furniture in my house - my 5 year old son uses it as a pillow when watching TV and to help him hold his sister when they are having a cuddle. An excellent product that all the family can use and will quickly become a favourite pillow for them all. Loved it.
The fabric they used is fantastic and it doesn't need to be washed frequently as no marks show. I have popped it in the wash now and it came up perfectly. It certainly makes both of us sit up correctly. I noticed Sasha has a straighter back and is more horizontal to my body, we fit together better which helps me not to be tempted to assume an awkward position for her to latch on to the breast. She is secure as well which means it is a more relaxing experience. It certainly reduces strain on arms, neck and back. I now take the Milkbar Portable Nursing Pillow everywhere and we both assume a comfortable poistion and all my family and friends are very impressed, even down to the handle which makes it easy to carry bub securley and slip the Milkbar Portable Nursing Pillow over my wrist. It also fits under the pram. It has been a joy to use. I also use the Milkbar Portable Nursing Pillow to sit Sasha against as she loves to be part of things. The design is great. I love it and would even purchase a second one to have in the car. The Milkbar has so many benefits but in particular the physio aspect is invaluable. It would also make a great gift as very light to post. Just brilliant.
I was a bit unsure when the Milkbar Portable Nursing Pillow first arrived and not sure it would be comfy for Isla. I found it was fantastic quality, and even when I sat on the cushion it kept its shape. Isla and Oscar both seemed happy and relaxed when laying on it, so a winner. Also it is created by an Australian mum and I do like to support other Australians. The cover unzips easily just pop in the wash no problem. When feeding I found it helped stop my back and neck straining, and more so when feeding Oscar as older and a lot heavier. Great support for arms. Another superb attribute is its portability. Also found it very easy to switch breasts when feeding bubs. I absolutely love it. Would make a perfect present for baby showers etc., and now my shoulders and back have stopped aching since using the Milkbar Portable Nursing Pillow. Has my vote and is a fantastic product.
The Milkbar is fabulous - I had great difficulty feeding initially, but it helped to have a comfortable feeding cushion. We tried pillows but they just didn't work as well. 10 months on and we're still using The Milkbar. Thank you

Having just sold the day-to-day running of her breastfeeding pillow business, The Milkbar, mother-of-three Kylie Robinson is already "scribbling on bits of paper", planning the next project. She worked as a computer systems and procedural trainer in law firms before children, but came up with The Milkbar project when nursing her firstborn, Angus, now nine. "I brought everything on the market and wasn't satisfied," Robinson says. "Three years later Stuart was born and I started designing my own." All the administrative skills she'd picked up in her career stood her in good stead. "I was very technically astute when it came to doing all my own ad layouts, my own accounts - you name it, I did everything!" she says.
Getting the product off the ground was not easy. "I'm no seamstress and I did many prototypes, many of which didn't work. A network of local mums doing similar things was invaluable, and it was through my friend Christine Kininmonth that I found my first manufacturer." Kininmonth's business, Fertile Mind, now handles manufacturing and distribution, and Robinson - who now has an eight-month-old daughter Ailish - receives royalties. What would she handle differantly? "I'd be more thorough with trademark issues, which can be expensive if you have to resolve them later."
The Milkbar has been a fantastic baby essential... I loved it so much I bought one for my friend. Thank you.
What a great product the Milkbar Pillow is! It's certainly getting a workout at our place.
I can't imagine life without The Milkbar™! It's a Godsend for Ryan and I: it is so much more convenient to throw this compact pillow in the pram when I'm out and about. It also means I'm more relaxed when feeding and a relaxed mum makes a happy baby!
I find The Milkbar™ gives excellent support for the neck and shoulders while feeding baby, making life a bit easier for Mum and baby.
I would strongly recommend The Milkbar™ to any of my friends contemplating Motherhood.
The Milkbar is just great and I couldn't do without it. It goes anywhere and everywhere with us and fits on the bottom of the pram easily. Thanks very much.
The design is perfect - no need for extra props with the Milkbar pillows.
Like many new Mums, I found feeding my first baby not as easy as I had hoped. My desire to feed my baby and the need to find an easier, more comfortable way to feed, led me to develop The Milkbar nursing pillow. The Milkbar nursing pillow helps make feeding your baby an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
